2022 Eocene Rose

 We love making this blush field blend because each year it is different. We always have small amounts of gewurz and gris and muscat that we can add to wines to lift them aromatically. This year, we co fermented pinot noir and pinot gris from rocky hill vineyard which is a small 1 acre plot that drew and Danie help manage just west of McMinnville in the foothills of the coast range. Pretty aromas of raspberry, white peach and preserved lemons. The chardonnay gives the wine a nice soft mouthfeel and roundness which is balanced by a crisp acidity. Fun floral notes from the muscat and gewurz are on the perimeter.
