Alt Wine Fest
Celebrate Oregon’s Alt Wine Fest Spirit
A Showcase of Oregon’s Diverse Wine Varieties
July 11, 2026 | 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM
McMinnville’s Mac Market — McMinnville, OR
Explore the breadth and creativity of Oregon wine beyond Pinot Noir with this unique celebration of alternative wine culture. Inspired by the acclaimed Alt Wine Fest, this event brings together pioneering winemakers and a remarkable range of wines crafted from Oregon’s 80+ non-Pinot grape varieties — from beloved classics to rare and experimental offerings.
What to Expect
• 30+ Oregon winemakers & 100+ wines — Featuring everything except Pinot Noir, including expressive styles like Chardonnay, Gamay, Ehrenfelsner, Garanoir, and Huxelrebe.
• Discover rare and hard-to-find wines — Many small-production producers bring varietals you won’t find in tasting rooms on a regular basis.
• Casual, welcoming vibe — Anti-pretentious and fun, the festival atmosphere invites both seasoned wine lovers and curious newcomers to sip, learn, and mingle with winemakers.
• Live entertainment and local flavors — Enjoy laid-back vibes with music, lawn games, and food options (details on participating vendors coming soon).
Alt Wine Fest was created to shine a spotlight on Oregon’s vibrant diversity of grapes and the passionate winemakers driving innovation in the region. Whether you’re drawn to familiar varietals or eager to explore new flavors, this celebration offers an unforgettable window into Oregon’s wine culture beyond the expected.
